Whitney Stuard Sambhariya, MD Ph.D., is pursuing a career in ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Medical Scientist Training Program. She hopes as a physician-scientist she can strive to integrate medicine, research, and advocacy. She is actively involved in advocacy and outreach in Ophthalmology through ARVO, AAO, and the AMA. She has an interest in surgical innovation and research in cornea and glaucoma and continues to pursue these and explore new areas of medicine and science in residency.
