Eye Tea came to be when our founders, Gagan Kalra, MD, and Katherine Leviste, MS, felt the need to recreate a conference lobby-style experience virtually. 

Impromptu roundtable discussions about evolving technologies in ophthalmology became our signature virtual event, where the audience could directly interact with a panel of world-renowned experts and future leaders in vision. 

Founded in early 2021, Eye Tea community is growing quickly and comprises young trainees, medical professionals, industry experts, and practicing ophthalmologists.
